About Amber
My love for English literature began in primary school, where I first discovered the power of storytelling and poetry. This passion only grew stronger, leading me to be published in two books with my poems during my education years. Inspired by my deep appreciation for literature, I pursued English Literature at A-Level and have continued to explore the beauty of language ever since. As a qualified tutor with a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training (DET), a BSc in Sociology, and strong English Literature qualifications, I am dedicated to helping students develop their analytical, writing, and comprehension skills in a way that is both engaging and effective. My teaching approach is student-focused, supportive, and tailored to suit individual learning styles. Whether you need guidance with essay writing, literary analysis, exam preparation, or general literacy skills, I create structured yet dynamic lessons that build confidence and encourage critical thinking. I work with GCSE & A-Level students, university learners, and adults looking to strengthen their English skills. My goal is to inspire a love for literature and language while ensuring that my students achieve their academic and personal learning objectives. My Approach to Tutoring & Teaching Methodology As a dedicated English tutor with a Level 5 DET, BSc in Sociology, and English Literature GCSE & A-Level, I tailor my lessons to suit each student's needs, ensuring an engaging and supportive learning environment.
