"I have been taking French lessons with Mimi since Jan 2018, and I can say with confidence that she is a very professional and competent teacher! Mimi has a fun and exciting way of teaching, which I genuinely enjoy! She also has a unique way to enrich our lessons with practical ideas, allowing me to retain and solidify the learnings quickly. I would highly recommend Mimi as a private teacher for anyone looking to improve their French conversation skills."

"It is with pleasure that I write this reference for Mimi Hussa.

Mimi has been working with my daughter, nurturing her skills in French for more than one year. Mimi started working with my daughter in Texas and has continued to do so from North Carolina via Skype. My daughter enjoyed her French lessons so much and was very excited that the lessons could continue even with Mimi's relocation.

Mimi is a wonderful, knowledgeable, nurturing tutor whose lessons are enriching in written and spoken French, as well as French culture. Mimi is able to offer much as a language tutor having grown up in both Europe ( including France and Belgium) and South Africa. Her love of teaching is evident and Mimi loves to describe what my daughter has learned during their lessons! Additionally, and most importantly, my daughter looks forward to each lesson which is a great testament to any teacher!"

"Mimi tutored our girls French and Dutch when they were 6 and 2 year olds during our time in Charlotte. She is warm, professional, punctual, and each session with her had been one of our favorite times of the week. She instilled proper French and Dutch pronunciations, grammars, and cultural appropriation in our girls, and built a strong lingual foundation in them. Mimi is a gift to our family, she made learning fun through books, games, conversations, and songs, and she is mindful of each child's needs. Now that we have moved to New York City, we hope to resume lessons with her online once we settle down.
Ever so Fondly,
