About Sarah
Qualified to teach to post-graduate level, I am a communicative teacher with over fourteen years' experience teaching the English Language, Art skills and Art History, and Spanish. Friendly and approachable with a great repertoire of skills, I have taught all levels, ages, and nationalities including Chinese, Japanese, Thai, and Arab students. I generally teach academic English in universities both in the UK and abroad, and have been teaching on a sessional basis for the last four years at the University of Warwick, where I generally specialise in critical writing and reading skills. I have also taught general English skills, business English, and technical English in a variety of private schools and colleges. I am also a professional artist, my work can be viewed online. I teach all mediums of sculpture as well as drawing skills. I have travelled to over forty countries and lived in Spain, Colombia, Qatar, Mauritania, and Saudi Arabia. Sarah is a conscientious and responsible teacher. During the pre-sessional lessons, she always got prepared well and gave reasonable courses. And sometimes, she gave feedbacks at weekends or at night considering the requirements of students. It seems that she prefers those active students, but actually she would treat all students fairly.
Besides, Sarah is a kind person. She is friendly enough to her students. And I suppose that she got a good relationship with her colleagues since I could always meet her sitting with other teachers at cafe.
What is more, she could give helpful suggestions for both academic writings and life tips. Indeed, she has some interesting stories to inspire her students. Perhaps this is for the reason that she is a person who do have a passion for life.
