About Jess
I am a final year University of Edinburgh student, with a passion for education and history overall. Children and young people succeeding in history helps in many other elements of the curriculum. History enables young people to formulate their own arguments, sustained with evidence. Analysis of texts and primary sources also enables them to be perceptive and critical when presented with unfamiliar sources. It also breeds a lifelong interest in history, which can be generational in its impact.

Each lesson would begin with a brief overview of a previous topic, followed by an overview of a new topic. This would include a primary source analysis and a practice exam question to finish. Aimed at GCSE/A Level students, and each lesson would be around 45 minutes long.
