About Isla
I am a Music student and have been giving various types of lesson for 2 years, be them theory, practical flute playing or otherwise. Current qualifications include an A* at A-level music, ARSM Diploma in flute and grade 8 piano.

I approach each topic using the recommended ABRSM theory books, working through and explaining each subject clearly and methodically. I expect students to take notes when instructed so that they can use them back at home to complete homework I set and to do extra practice. I encourage questions in class and am happy to answer questions on homework in between classes as best as I can. (But the best practice is done through trial and error)
