In my lessons I like to focus on standard vocabulary, as well as vocabulary at a level slightly higher than the learner's level to ensure growth.
Pronunciation is also important to me, and I believe that having better pronunciation helps learners to also recognize sounds from native speakers, especially when they are speaking fluently.
