About Laura
I am a Fine Art graduate. I started taking drawing and painting lessons at 7 years old, and illustration and comic lessons as a teen. I love exploring different processes and techniques and I am highly interested in materials and their properties. I believe that aiding to develop critical thinking from a young age can be really beneficial to someone's art practice as well as to inspire curiosity and creativity, skills that will be key in all areas of life.

Hi, thanks for stopping by! I'm Laura. A Fine Art graduate of the School of Art, Architecture and Design, specialising in 2D (drawing and painting), 3D (sculpture, installation, and 3D painting) and digital art (illustration, 3D modelling, animation, moving image). I provide tutorials where I can help you with your portfolio preparation, and get you ready for university access interviews. I had a great mentor many years ago while preparing my university applications for a Fine Art degree, so I know how key it is to have the support and guidance from an experienced artist who has gone through the whole process themselves. I would love to join you in your own university application journey and guide you through it! It would be my pleasure to answer your questions and doubts and make you feel confident that you are presenting a strong, structured portfolio and that you are interview ready! I can also give you advice in regards to choosing the best Art course for you as well as the best university, as your choices should be made based on a number of factors which are person-specific.
