I am recent a Biological and Medical Sciences graduate who thoroughly enjoys teaching. I take a caring and relaxed approach to my lessons, going through topics at the best pace for the pupil. I start by getting to know the student and organise a revision plan for the coming weeks or days. I find that many students require guidance in exam technique and an in depth look at core concepts. I have also found that students can sometimes feel under pressure from a competitive environment, and can end can subsequently lose faith in their own ability. Consequently, I aim to boost morale and confidence as well as academic performance. I am considered patient and approachable, and advocate an honest and open learning space. I have a range of teaching experiences, from leading tutorial sessions at university, to tutoring family and friends GCSE chemistry. Typically, lessons are an hour long, and I am happy to drive up to 10 miles :)
