About Raeesa
Hi! I'm Raeesa. I graduated with a First class degree in Economics and Accounting and currently work in Finance at Deutsche Bank while completing my ACA qualification.
Alongside my career, I've always enjoyed supporting students with their learning and have helped GCSE students in Business and Economics.
I've also supported older students and peers with internship applications and early career preparation, which has helped me to develop a supportive mentoring style.

I aim to create a supportive and structured environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their understanding of Business & Economics.
My sessions are tailored to each student depending on their current level and goals. I usually begin by identifying areas they find challenging, before working through topics step by step using clear explanations and practical examples. I also focus strongly on exam technique, as this is often where students can make the biggest improvements at GCSE level.
Having studied Economics and Accounting at degree level and now working in finance at Deutsche Bank whilst studying to complete my ACA qualification, I try to connect topics to real world examples where possible. This helps students to understand not just what they need to learn for exams, but why the concept matters.
