About Mia
I'm an English graduate currently studying a part-time Creative Writing MA in London. I have always loved books and read widely, and my particular interests include contemporary poetry, LGBTQ+ writing throughout history, and experimental literary forms. I look forward to sharing my passion for English through tutoring, and helping students find their enthusiasm for the texts.
As someone who found exams particularly stressful during my time at school, I also am keen to support students to find the revision techniques that work for them, and feel confident as they approach exams.

Flexible approach based on student's needs, including developing essay writing skills, text comprehension and preparing for examinations. Typically begin by looking over previous work and identifying areas for improvement, and then creating a plan of action with the student.
Lessons for secondary school students of all ages, with experience helping with GCSE and A Level revision, and preparing for higher education.
Qualifications: First Class English BA (Hons) from the University of Cambridge, A*A*A* grades at A Level, 11 A* GCSEs
