I am an English Literature and Language graduate (First Class) from the University of Nottingham looking to help students become confident with their subjects and strong candidates for university. I am also TEFL qualified, and can therefore help students looking to learn English as a foreign language.
I am enthusiastic about all areas of English; studying English Language and English Literature separately at A-Level and university has provided me with in-depth knowledge on both subjects, and thorough experience in writing essays. Regarding creative writing, I have had prose and poetry published and over summer I completed an internship at Cambridge University Press. At university, I was Co-Editor-in-Chief at the Tab Nottingham, gaining over 95,000 views for my articles.
I have achieved top marks at GCSE (8A*s and 2 As) and A-Level (A in English Literature and English Language), which helped me to obtain an unconditional offer from 2 Russel Group universities. At my sixth form I was Head Girl, and have experience working with all ages because of this.

I will tailor my tutoring to suit the student's learning style to ensure we approach exams in the best way possible. Initially, we will identify the student's goals to ensure a logical approach is set to achieve them. We will consolidate understanding, and then approach exam papers and evaluate exam technique to get the top marks!

I taught Aisling A level Literature and A level Language, and in both subjects she was an outstanding student. Aisling is passionately interested in the study of literary texts and linguistic study, and I am sure she continues to excel as an English undergraduate. Aisling is hard-working and rigorous in her approach to study as well as being very friendly and helpful.
Aisling is an amazing tutor, with a high degree of knowlege in many subjects. She is super patient and kind, and really goes the extra mile to make sure everything is understood. I certainly couldn't have gotten the A-level results that I did without her, and I'd recommend her to absolutely anyone!
