About Shreya
I’m Shreya Rajesh, a psychology graduate and current MSc Applied Psychology student with a strong passion for teaching and mentoring students. Over the years, I’ve gained experience tutoring a variety of subjects, including Psychology for Years 10–13 and Math & English for Years 3–7. Teaching, for me, is not just about transferring knowledge — it’s about forming meaningful connections with students, understanding their individual learning styles, and creating a supportive environment where they feel confident to ask questions and explore ideas. I’ve always been passionate about teaching because it allows me to connect with students on a personal level — not just as a tutor, but as a mentor and friend. For me, learning is most effective when there’s trust, comfort, and mutual respect in the classroom. I love creating an environment where students feel heard, supported, and confident to ask questions without hesitation. Teaching isn’t just about transferring knowledge; it’s about inspiring curiosity, building self-belief, and helping each student see their own potential.
