About Freya
I understood the value of a tailored education from an early age, with both my parents working all of their lives as teachers (my mother being a head teacher of a high school/sixth form), and listening to her speak in the houses of lords about the importance of accessible learning for students with additional needs.. I have since received a first class degree from a highly prestigious drama school (LIPA), where I have since worked as a freelance lecturer, until beginning my MFA in Theatre Directing at Birkbeck, following an extremely rigorous application process. I am currently a script reader at the Orange Tree theatre in Richmond, helping to edit and analyse adaptations of classical texts by Authors from Shakespeare to Strindberg.
I tutored privately during my time at university, helping students to receive high grades in their GCSEs and A levels, with support from current teaching professionals on the curriculum and exam technique. I hope to support another generation of young people receive the education they deserve in order to achieve their goals in the future.
I am highly skilled as a tutor of English Literature and Language, and have extensive experience in essay based subjects/exams.
