About Ella
I have a Bachelors degree in English Literature and a Masters in Postcolonial studies and Literature. I also write newspaper articles and have a keen eye for editing. I have experience proof-reading students' work and editing essays, personal statements, and thesis plans for peers. I am a friendly, outgoing individual and love playing football and writing in my free time.
I have been teaching english as a foreign language for over two years and have taught over 700 students online. I also tutor English 1-1 and currently teach in classrooms in Hanoi.

Always stuck hovering around a similar mark and need that extra push to break through a grade boundary? My lessons are geared towards students who are struggling to make that jump between grade boundaries or need some guidance on how to improve their work.
I am kind, considerate and patient with all students.
For one-to-one classes, I focus on the specific needs of the individual; this includes reading through past papers or test questions and noticing patterns that need improvement.
I am very keen on letting the individuality of each student shine – no two students think or feel the same way about literature and so it is vital that they explore their own interests!
I am an extremely fast and efficient reader and so I offer bespoke tutoring services. I will read texts/information/context for the essay title/reading list in advance if I have not done so already.
