I like to teach in a flexible, personalised way, adapting to each student, but keeping a friendly yet professional tone. I find it useful to analyse written and spoken passages that are of interest to the student, and to extract from them a deeper understanding of the language. I also find it useful to examine English produced by the student, and work to apply to that the lessons gained from analysis.
