In order to teach these English subjects effectively, I introduce students to different styles of writing and go into depth about the styles of writing. To create a better understanding of how to proofread, I will teach some grammar and exemplify ways to enhance the overall outline of a text. A typical lesson plan would first be to go over some grammar, analyze some different writing styles in different texts, write with some random prompts, and finally to proofread and come up with ways to make the writing better. What sets me apart as a tutor is that I don't just teach creative writing because I'm good at it, but rather because it is a topic that I especially enjoy. I practice it a lot and have taught many people about it. This also goes for proofreading. Each year, my school has essay contests, and I am one of the key proofreaders at the school. These lessons can be for anyone, but are targeted for 3rd-10th graders.
