I am a Master of Information Technology student at Flinders University with professional Software Engineering experience. I am passionate about teaching and mentoring students, making Mathematics easier to understand through patient explanations, practical examples and a supportive, encouraging approach to learning.

I believe Mathematics becomes much easier when students understand the “why” behind a concept rather than simply memorizing formulas. My lessons are friendly, interactive and adapted to each student’s learning pace.
I usually begin by understanding where the student is confident and where they need extra support. I explain concepts step by step using simple examples, visual explanations and real-life situations, followed by guided practice and independent problem-solving. I also encourage students to ask questions freely and learn from mistakes without feeling pressured.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes, but the length can be adjusted depending on the student’s needs and goals.
I am currently pursuing a Master of Information Technology at Flinders University and have several years of professional Software Engineering experience. I also have experience supporting students through tutoring, STEM mentoring and volunteering with programs that encourage young people to develop their programming and problem-solving skills.
My lessons are suitable for Primary and Secondary School students who need help understanding Mathematics, completing schoolwork, preparing for assessments, or simply building stronger confidence and problem-solving skills.
