About Luiza

I am a friendly and enthusiastic English Language A-Level student with a passion for languages, travelling and learning about different cultures.

I have lived in several different countries and speak multiple languages, including English, Portuguese and French. Because of this, I understand what it is like to learn and communicate in different languages and how important confidence is when speaking a language that may not be your first.

I achieved a Grade 7 in GCSE English Language and now study English Language at A-Level, which has allowed me to develop a deeper understanding of how English is used in different contexts.

I love travelling and meeting people from different backgrounds, and I particularly enjoy helping others feel more confident communicating. I am patient, approachable and understanding, and I aim to make students feel comfortable practising their English without worrying about making mistakes.

About the lesson

My English lessons are friendly, relaxed and personalised to each student’s level and goals. I want my students to feel comfortable speaking English without being afraid of making mistakes, as I believe regular conversation is one of the best ways to build confidence and improve fluency.

Lessons can include conversation practice, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, reading and writing. I can also focus on practical English for everyday situations, such as travelling, studying, meeting new people or living in an English-speaking country.

A typical lesson will last around 60 minutes (can be 45 min if preferred) and will be adapted to what the student wants to improve. I can also provide shorter lessons if preferred.

I am fluent in English, achieved a Grade 7 in GCSE English Language and currently study English Language at A-Level. I also speak Portuguese and French, so I understand the challenges of learning and communicating in different languages.

My lessons are particularly suitable for beginners and intermediate learners who want to improve their conversational English, pronunciation, vocabulary and overall confidence.
