About Ivy
I am a Medical Student pursuing a Diploma in Public Health at Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC), one of the best medical colleges in Kenya.
As a future public health officer, I am passionate about teaching and helping people communicate clearly. I grew up in Kakamega, so Swahili is my native language and I am fluent in English which we use in all our medical training.
Why learn with a medical student? I am very patient, organized, and I explain things simply — the same way I explain health to patients in the community. I am also ideal for students who want to volunteer in Kenya, work in healthcare, or learn medical Swahili.
I have 2 years experience tutoring high school students in Biology and English in my village.
When I'm not in class, I love reading, community health outreach, and learning about other cultures. I would love to share my language and culture with you!
