I am an alumni of St. John's University (graduated 2019) in NYC with a Bachelor's degree in both Physical Science B.S. and Psychology B.A., with a minor in Biology. 3.86 final cumulative GPA, graduated with Honors and Summa Cum Laude awards. The basis approach any tutor should have is one where the student understands the necessary background to whatever question he/she is asking. You cannot learn something new without a proper foundation. I'm also against just giving the answer without a reason as to WHY the answer is what it is. True learning comes from understanding, not memorizing.
