About Candice
I am a trained English teacher (M.A., B.Ed) with several years of experience in tutoring grade 9-12 students.
Additionally, I have taught English at an ICSE school. I have also worked as a correspondent and copy editor for a business magazine.

I engage the student in a lot of discussion, through which we critically analyse the text. I also encourage the student to read up on the background of the author, the time period the text was written in to bring in a new perspective to the text we are studying. There are regular assessments to ensure the student has understood the topic being taught.
