About Ayanna
My qualifications include: Currently pursuing a Masters in School Administration with a 3.64 GPA (expected graduation May 2025) from UNC Charlotte. Holding a Grad Certificate in Social Studies 9-12 (GPA 3.81) from UNC Charlotte and a Bachelor of Arts in History (GPA 3.64) from Johnson C. Smith.
Seven years of experience as a Social Studies teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, teaching diverse student populations.
Proven track record of success:
Increased student performance in IB History of the Americas.
Led the Social Studies Department and PLC's as Department Chair.
Mentored new teachers and served as a Clinical Educator for UNC Charlotte.
Recognized as West Charlotte Teacher of the Year (2020-2021).
