About Brianna
I have been a teacher for over four years. I began my teaching career at Pinelands Regional School District where I was a long term, full time substitute teacher for Resource room ELA. I then received my first official teaching contract not as a substitute teaching Performing Arts in Camden, NJ. I also taught Physical Education and Math as well at times over the two years I was there. This past year I started off the school year teaching fourth grade at Assumption Regional Catholic School, which I absolutely love!
Another fun thing to note is that before I was a teacher, I was a professional performer! I have done many theatre contracts, and in addition to tutoring now, I teach voice as well!
I am a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in NYC for Musical Theatre, have a BA in English with Minor in Writing from American Military University, and my Masters in Education will be completed in this coming year from Stockton University. I hold a Special Education endorsement with my teaching certification now.

When it comes to a typical tutoring lesson, I usually will spend the first five minutes reviewing the student's homework and schoolwork while they work independently on what they need to get done. Then, I will begin to go over the skills associated with that homework assignment, or review a skill that their teacher states they are having difficulty with. I have many interactive tool and materials to help learn these skills in an engaging way. My tutoring is usually for those those who are struggling in class to get their grades up, however I have also tutored higher achieving students in the past who were preparing for local and statewide competitions!
