About Tom
I'm a 21-year-old fourth-year student studying English Literature and History and Durham University. I previously tutored year 7, 8 and GCSE students in English literature and language when in sixth-form. I have recently undertaken a year studying abroad in Budapest, which included some English language teaching work, and this has enriched my academic skillset and inspired me to return to tutoring.

I provide a focussed approach where we examine literary texts, personal work, and case-specific resources tailored to the individual student. With comprehensions, reading, textual analysis and interactive tasks, I draw from my previous tutoring experience and time spent studying in Durham and abroad in Hungary to give engaging and constructive lessons to my students.
