About Tanya
I have graduated from the Mariposa Movement dance leadership program which provided me with the tools to be able to guide private movement sessions. I have training in Compassionate Inquiry which taught me how to tune into the energy of people I am working with to uncover what the body and its sensations are expressing. I have plenty of experience deeply communicating with people in various roles, including patients at a hospital and addiction treatment centre. Dance sessions involve communication and listening in a different way. In our classes together we see what is present for you in the moment and allow whatever arises, including emotions, to move through your body. I am able to be fully present with you to witness and guide you through this journey.

These classes invite you to use dance as a tool to empower yourself and build the confidence to move in whatever way your body is guiding you, no matter how wild, furious or ``uncoordinated`` that may be. This gives people the permission to authentically express through movement, which in turn opens up a channel for creativity and connection to Spirit.
