About April
I am a practising freelance Theatre Designer working in Opera/ Dance and Theatre. I am really keen to mentor upcoming designers and artists for careers in the industry, building confidence in research skills, understanding of Art History and conceptual thinking. I am also passionate about building people's confidence in their own abilities to paint and draw, whether as part of a curriculum or for pure enjoyment and wellbeing.

I offer flexible classes tailored to you. Whether it is prepping for GCSE or A Level exams, preparing a portfolio for a University interview or improving general painting techniques to expand a hobby, I can design classes around your needs.
I have an A Level in Fine Art (specialising in Oil Painting), and am a practising Set and Costume Designer for live performances following a 1st class Degree in BA (Hons) Theatre Design.
