About Anne-Lise
I have taught Chemistry at high school and college level for 8 years (6 years of teaching and 6 years of tutoring) in the classroom and in private both in-person and online. I am a part-time faculty member at Robert Morris University (PA). I have 10 years of experience in research in Organic Chemistry in France, Japan and Brazil.

I am French and I have a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry and a Chemical Engineer diploma. The students’ understanding improvement is my satisfaction in teaching. My teaching philosophy is to help students understand chemistry through four modalities: reading, listening, seeing and hands-on learning. To explain ideas in chemistry I can use various teaching aids such as 3-D models, chemistry-writing software, and visual demonstrations. I am volunteering to teach French at Carnegie libraries of Pittsburgh (PA), twice a month for beginner and for conversations. Aside from teaching, I love cooking, traveling, taking photographs, listening live music and watching movies.
Subjects I tutor include: Chemistry (General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry), AP, GRE, SAT, ACT and MCAT in Chemistry, Honor Chemistry and French.
