About Anna

Hello! I'm Anna, a French citizen with a multicultural background, a Master's degree in Languages and an MBA.
My professional journey has taken me from Southeast Asia to Western Europe, working across different cultures and environments. I've taught in both public and private educational institutions in France, worked with adult learners, and held leadership responsibilities in education.
Having learned languages through both formal study and real-life immersion, I understand how rewarding — and sometimes intimidating — it can be to communicate in another language.
Outside my professional life, I'm a passionate traveller and endlessly curious about people, history, cultures and gastronomy. I've crossed the Gobi Desert with a backpack, explored many corners of Europe, and developed a particular affection for Scotland and Ireland.
I also enjoy discovering traditional crafts and have recently taken up woodcarving — a wonderful reminder that learning something new requires curiosity, patience and occasionally a good sense of humour!
I love teaching because I love seeing people discover what they're capable of. For me, the best conversations are those where we learn something from each other.
I look forward to helping you discover not just the French language, but the people, stories and everyday life behind it.

About the lesson

French is more than grammar — it's a way of discovering people, cultures and new perspectives!
My lessons are designed for adults who already have some knowledge of French and want to become more confident speaking and understanding it in real-life situations.
With a Master's degree in Languages, experience teaching adults, and an international professional background in education and management, I bring much more than textbooks to our conversations.
I believe that language comes alive when we use it. Depending on your interests, we can explore everyday French, travel, gastronomy, culture, current affairs, literature or professional situations.
I use authentic materials such as newspaper articles, short videos, interviews and practical scenarios to encourage natural conversation. You'll receive constructive feedback on pronunciation, vocabulary and expressions, without turning every discussion into a grammar examination!
Lessons are held online and last 60 minutes, allowing enough time for meaningful conversation, practical exercises and personalised feedback.
Whether you're preparing to visit France, communicating with French-speaking colleagues, or simply hoping to speak more naturally and confidently, we'll focus on subjects that genuinely interest you.
My philosophy is simple: don't just study French — use it, enjoy it and make it part of your life!
