I met Aurélie in March, when I needed to level up my French to present the TCF Canada exam. With the exam due in May, I met with Aurélie for three hours per week, since I already knew the language (I had studied it before). Some people might want to try more or fewer hours, depending on their level.

During the sessions, she helped me clarify key concepts, shared advice on the exam structure, and focused on equipping me with the right tools for what I was looking for—she offered a nice mix of oral and written production and comprehension.

She also provided me with different exercises to get me to improve my oral and written production. All of them were based on TCF Canada's structure, so I could get used to the kinds of materials I would be facing. In addition to that, she also provided recommendations to get familiar with the language, beyond solely the exam.

Most importantly, she was always candid regarding the amount of effort needed to succeed. While the hourly sessions were significantly helpful, part of the success was the time I put into completing the exercises Aurélie suggested each week.

Happily, I obtained a C2 in written comprehension and a B2 in the other abilities.
