For the past decade I've worked as a teacher across all levels:

Also, I have lived in France and Senegal for several years and thus have acquired a native fluency to compliment my academic studies.
I have a degree in French and International Relations.
Throughout my career I have been actively tutoring privately - this has been hugely rewarding and I have enjoyed a lot of success, measured both in academic results but also in visible growth by my students in their proficiency of French.

My teaching and tutoring is based on outcome - I've have a lot of success tutoring adults and young people a like for business French, conversational French for holidays or expats and students preparing their exams.
As a Head of Department for Languages, I have an extensive knowledge of the exam system for GCSE and A-level, this includes working with the exam boards and moderating the exams.
Having learnt several languages through different techniques and studied language acquisition at university, I understand that people learn differently and develop a unique method based on the students' needs.
Lessons will focus on vocabulary building, acquiring grammar through simple explanations and practicing conversation to improve fluency. I believe confidence is key for language learning so work with the pupil to develop this. To facilitate this, I have a wealth of learning resources collected over the years ready to share.

Perfect! Conor has a great understanding of both the nuts and bolt of the language and also of contemporary usage in France. He creates a supportive and relaxed learning environment and my French has improved massively.
