I have been teaching language through Duolingo Classes (formerly Events) since 2017. I've taught through them in-person in Halifax and then on webcam after the pandemic changed things. I do like to use their tools for educators, still, to track basic progress and give "homework" to my students. I primarily work with students that are at level A1 (Elementary) or higher with a focus on making it fun with word games and talking verbally as well as through typing.
