About Laura
I tutor Maths and English at GCSE and A-Level. I have a (BA Hons) degree in English Literature from Durham University. I also have a current enhanced DBS check. I love to pass on my own enthusiasm about learning to my students. I am patient and work hard to make my lessons engaging for each individual, making sure they are tailored to fit each student's needs. I like to get to know the student to understand what style of learning is best suited to them and organise lessons with a long-term goals to track their progress. I work hard to make sure the student understands the material and is adequately prepared for their test/ exams. I always try to create a safe and supportive environment that will allow pupils to grow in confidence with the subject.
