About Ifrah

Hello! I’m Ifrah, an experienced English tutor with a Master’s degree from Brunel University London.
I help both children and adults improve their English in a simple, supportive, and enjoyable way.
For children (ages 4+): I make learning fun and engaging using colours, pictures, games, and interactive storytelling. My lessons help kids build strong foundations in speaking, reading, phonics, vocabulary, and writing — while growing in confidence and curiosity!
For adults: Whether you’re learning English as a second language, want to improve your grammar, or feel shy speaking, I’m here to help. My lessons are friendly, patient, and tailored to your needs — from daily conversation to professional communication or exam preparation.

About the lesson

Teaching Techniques and Methodology
I focus on a student-centered approach, tailored to each learner’s age and needs. For young children, I use playful, engaging methods such as stories, songs, and interactive games that make learning enjoyable. With older students, I combine practical conversation exercises, grammar, and vocabulary lessons to build confidence and fluency. My goal is to create a comfortable, encouraging environment where students feel motivated to participate actively.

Lesson Length
Each lesson typically lasts 30 minutes for younger children (ages 4-7) to match their attention span, while lessons for older children and teens last 45-60 minutes.

Qualifications and Experience
I hold a master’s degree from Brunel University and am an aspiring solicitor with a strong command of language and communication. My academic background and passion for teaching have equipped me to create lessons that engage and inspire students of all ages.

Who the Lessons Are For
I offer English lessons for children aged 4 and up, covering beginner to advanced levels. Whether your child is just starting with English or building on existing skills, I provide personalised lessons that foster growth and confidence.

Learning with Ifrah has been a really positive experience. She always keep a calm and supportive attitude, which helps me stay relaxed and focused. I never feel judged for making mistakes, and that’s helped me improve so much without fear. I really look forward to every lesson. Amazing teacher!!
