About Lyla

I am a friendly, patient and approachable English tutor who is passionate about helping students improve their confidence and communication skills. As a current university student, I understand the challenges of learning and the importance of creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing at their own pace.

I enjoy working with children and beginners who are learning English, and I focus on making lessons engaging, encouraging and tailored to each student’s goals. Through my experience working with young people in coaching and mentoring environments, I have developed strong communication skills and a patient teaching approach.

My goal is to help every student feel more confident in their English abilities while making learning enjoyable and rewarding.

About the lesson

I am a friendly and supportive English tutor who enjoys helping children and beginners build confidence in their English skills. While I am new to formal tutoring, I have experience working with children through coaching junior soccer and understand the importance of patience, encouragement and making learning enjoyable.

My lessons are personalised to each student’s needs and focus on improving areas such as reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. I aim to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes while learning.

Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes and can be adapted depending on the student’s age, goals and level. For younger students, I like to include engaging activities and practical exercises to keep them interested, while for international students learning English, I focus on building everyday communication skills and confidence.

My lessons are suitable for primary school students, beginners learning English as a second language, and anyone looking to improve their English skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
