About Stephanie
Having taught English in Spain for five lovely years, phonics sessions with me are unique as we happily glide through the process together at a rate that suits you. We'll develop reading and writing skills by practising sounding out, learning to blend, holding a sentence, questioning storybooks and having fun whilst progressing until a high standard of literacy is attained.

My teaching style incorporates a mixture of visual speedy word cards, sound flashcards, picture books, write and share, regular assessments and lots of chatting. Depending upon level, we'll start our lessons introducing a storybook, repeating speed sounds, blending, reading together and writing sentences based upon the book. Sounds will be repeated until confidence is gained before moving on to the next level of sounds and writing depth.
