About Martina
I am a Maths PhD student at Cardiff University. The PhD life allowed me to help many students through tutorials and Maths support. I also have many years of experience in private tutoring. I have a master degree in Applied Mathematics and currently I am working on fluid dynamics. I can help with a wide range of branches, such as Algebra, Calculus, complex analysis, differential equations, basic statistics and physics.

My approach is very friendly and I try to understand what the student really needs so that we use the time together wisely and efficiently. I really enjoy teaching and I see this also as an opportunity to gain more experience. It is very satisfying for me to see students becoming confident. Perfect! Martina was fantastic at breaking down work that I was struggling with into bite sized chunks, which made it much more accessible to me! She was also able to introduce me to new methods/ approaches that worked better for me than those that were taught in lectures!
With Martina's help I successfully passed my optional maths module which I undertook in the first year of my degree.
