About Marina

I tutored for the majority of my college career, and I tend to establish an environment that challenges my students. I always say that my sessions are the best place to be wrong. I think failing is a part of thriving, and I’d much rather a student get something incorrect in my session, but the go on to do well on an exam. I know how hard it can be to pull yourself together to study, so I like to keep things interesting too.

About the lesson

As a college student I needed so much help. From tutoring to supplemental sessions to independent struggling, I tried so many things. School doesn't prepare you to study or help you learn how you learn best. Figuring out what worked for me saved my grades, and all I want to do is help you figure that out too. I’ve been tutoring since 2022, and many of my students eventually move on from my sessions because they learn what works for them. I want my students to learn skills that carry them through any class, and I’m willing to go the extra mile to help them succeed.
