About Brittanie
I'm a UK Conservatoire Graduate and current Medical Student, (usually the opposite careers seen on university adverts right?) It means I know very well that we all learn differently and get to where we want to be at different times. I am able to offer tutoring and support with GCSE'S, A-Levels, as well as mentoring with Auditions, workshops or UCAT prep.
My Qualifications/ Experience:
I originally trained at READ Dance and Theatre College before graduating with a first class BA (Hons) in Acting from the now, Rose Bruford Wigan (nee Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.)
As an actor I have worked professionally since I graduated in 2021, working with the National Theatre, The Lowry, on site specific pieces, within my practice I have worked as a creative access consultant also. I enjoy tutoring in acting; auditioning is a skill and it's wonderful to see anyone's confidence grow from this in the work and in life.
I decided to do a 360 career change in 2023. I returned to education to study Maths, Biology and Chemistry through an Access to HE Medicine Programme, sat the UCAT and am currently a 1st year Medical student. Because of my own study commitments, my availability for lessons are mostly weekends and evenings, but again open to a chat if need be!

About Lessons with Me:
If you have any goals or ideas about what you would specifically like to explore, please do let me know! As a student myself I used to be put off by the prospect of finding a tutor and recognise how nerve wracking this can be. Lessons with me are judgement free, if something doesn't work you, let me know and we can change things up, there is absolutely no question too silly! I firmly believe in learning being a collaboration and want to create space that is ok to not know things and to find what works best for your learning.
If you have any access requirements regarding online lessons, please do send me a message. I'm very open to a discussion and figuring out together how you can get the most from your lessons.
Subjects I can explore with you and at which level:
- I am able to offer tutoring at GCSE Level for:
English, English Literature, Biology, Psychology, and Drama
- LAMDA Prep Grades 1-8
- I am able to offer tutoring at A-level for:
English Literature, Philosophy and Ethics, Theatre Studies and Biology.
- Drama/Theatre Studies/ Acting for voice, screen or theatre at undergraduate level
- I am happy to also tutor in regard to selecting appropriate audition repertoire for drama school auditions, acting and audition technique as well as navigating recalls and workshops. On the other side of Higher Education prep I offer UCAT Preparation tutoring as well as how to prepare for med school interviews.
