About Zoya
Hi there! I'm Zoya — your future psychology tutor (and a passionate learner just like you). A little about me: I’m a qualified psychologist with a strong foundation in science and medicine. I completed my high school in the science stream, followed by a Pre-Medical college degree. Eventually, I found my true calling in Psychology and earned a 4-year BS (Hons) degree in the field. Why choose me? Because I truly get that learning isn’t one-size-fits-all. Whether you're a visual learner, a deep thinker, or just someone who wants to connect the dots in their own way—I'm here to guide and support you. Here’s what makes our sessions different: - I’ve worked directly with clients during my internship at IMC (International Medical Center) in Jeddah, gaining real-world experience as a Psychological Associate. - I combine theory with empathy. With 8 clients (4 under my direct care), I learned how important it is to listen first. - I’ve given seminars on thought-provoking topics like Social Media, Pakistan’s History, and even Covid-19, making complex ideas simple and relatable. A few cool things I’ve done: - President of the English Literary Society for 3 years - Chief Editor of my college magazine - Award-winning debater and speaker (since middle school!) - Working on publishing my thesis on “bullying and self-esteem” - Completed an Active Citizenship Project on “cyberbullying” - And... I’ve even published a fiction novel on Wattpad and Inkitt (yes, I love writing too!) What I bring to the table: - A mix of academic depth, hands-on experience, creativity, and most importantly—a student-first mindset. - Whether you need help understanding psychological theories, want to improve your writing, or just need a mentor who listens—I’m here for you.
