Valerie has been teaching me Spanish for the last 5 years on a one hour , weekly basis. We not only cover the language but also history, arts and traditions. Our lessons are always informative and to a degree fun. I would highly recommend Valerie, she has a special gift and is particularly good with children.

Valerie (Valou) is an excellent tutor. My daughter has been tutored for just over 4 years in French and now going into her GCSE years is ahead of her peers at school. Valerie gives a solid grounding of the language and with the added advantage of being native to France she has given my daughter a cultural view of the country and expansive vocabulary, formal and colloquial, that would not be covered in a school setting. Due to the encouragement received, she now wishes to continue to A level French. My husband (a beginner) also attended French lessons with Valerie and now is proficient enough in the language that he works frequently in France and confidently converses with French colleagues.
