About Louise
I have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a history of achieving excellent results in English for students of all levels and for students who may not necessarily speak English as a first language. I have an up to date knowledge of both the GCSE and A Level national curriculum, the new numerical grading system and all major exam boards. Previously, I have held responsibilities such as organising and teaching English GCSE resits, as I excel in helping students to pass their English GCSE using intervention methods, where students have not made the grade. As well as GCSE and resits, I have helped many A Level English Literature students to achieve the top grades. I would welcome students who, in particular, need tutoring support in English Literature as this is my subject specialism.

Hi, I'm Louise, a fully qualified English teacher (QTS), with experience in tutoring and teaching KS3 to KS5. My tutoring experience spans from Secondary English, GCSE, English GCSE resits and A Level Literature to tutoring students where English is a second language, all levels of literacy for the casual/adult learner and, University English Literature. I have experience in working with all ability levels and aim to inspire, encourage, and help you achieve through my patient, individual and personal approach.
