About Kate
After training in ballet my whole life, I got my BFA with a concentration in Dance Performance from Rider University. Here I studied all styles from contemporary to jazz to breakdancing! In addition to that, I learned all about the importance of learning anatomy and kinesiology along with dance. I have made it my mission as a dance teacher to give kids the opportunity to really know their body and how to move it to give them the best shot at longevity. I am supportive, and want to push my students in a healthy way. I am not interested in injuring my students physically or mentally.

It is so important for young dancers to understand their body. I focus on anatomy and kinesthetics while I teach, really breaking down how to do steps correctly for your own body. Longevity is important!
I also focus on artistry. A dancer can do tricks for days, but performance is where success truly is. Acting is a crucial part of the dance instruction process!
