About Mehrunnisa

Hi! My name is Mehrunnisa, and I am currently studying towards a degree in Foundation Phase Education. I have always enjoyed working with children and helping them understand new things. I am a patient, caring and friendly person who believes that every learner has their own way and pace of learning.
I am interested in teaching because I enjoy seeing learners grow their confidence and developing new skills. I believe learning should be fun and engaging, rather than something that feels difficult and stressful. I would love the opportunity to support young learners with their schoolwork and help them build a strong foundation for their education.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, baking, reading and going to the beach. I look forward to meeting my students and making learning a positive and enjoyable experience!

About the lesson

I offer fun, friendly and personalised lessons for Foundation Phase learners. As a Foundation Phase Education student, I understand the importance of making learning enjoyable, simple and engaging for young learners. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where learners feel confident to ask questions and learn at their pace.
My lessons include Mathematics, English, Afrikaans, which includes reading, writing, spelling and I offer homework support for all lessons. I use age-appropriate activities, examples, games and explanations to make difficult concepts easier to comprehend.
Each lesson will be adapted to the learner's individual needs and level. I am patient and encouraging, and my main goal is to help learners improve their skills while developing confidence in their schoolwork.
