About Ryan
I have been tutoring for the past 9 years, as early as my senior year in high school. I have always produced results of taking failing students to outstanding grades. I achieve these grades by being accessible for my students and offering support consistently to ensure that personal studies are being executed accordingly.

My goal is to teach the language of math, while in the process of mastering the topics at hand. The complexities of the technical terminology can scare students out of solving the problem just by reading the question. I want to ensure my students can thrive, not just pass.
When working through topics, I stress independent growth, rather than me just answering the question for you. I work through questions that follow the same principle: start by showing you how, then guiding you through, then aiding where needed and then awaiting your final answer.
I personally believe that I have the right traits to allow me to talk to just about anyone and give a sense of comfort for us to tackle this mountain of math together. I am stern, not strict. I am relaxed, not a push-over. It is important to create a balance to make it fun but be productive and I think my classes are a good mix of that.
My strong suits are in high school math and have a great comfort with middle school math too.
