About Michelle

Hello, I’m Chelle, a fully qualified teacher (QTS) with over 10 years of teaching and leadership experience in Early Years, Primary, and international education. I specialise in making maths accessible, engaging, and enjoyable for learners of all abilities, from early maths learners in EYFS and KS1 through to Functional Skills support. My lessons focus on building confidence, number sense, problem-solving skills, and a positive mindset towards maths through creative, hands-on learning.
Having worked with families across China, Thailand, the Middle East, and globally mobile communities, I understand that every young person has unique strengths and learning needs. Using a calm, nurturing, and child-centred approach, I help children develop the skills, confidence, and resilience they need to succeed both in maths and beyond.

About the lesson

My online lessons are personalised, engaging, and carefully structured to develop learners’ mathematical understanding, problem-solving skills, and confidence in a supportive and enjoyable way. Sessions use games, visual resources, practical activities, investigations, and creative STEAM-based learning to make maths meaningful and accessible. Learners are encouraged to explore, question, and apply their learning through real-world contexts, helping them develop number sense, logical thinking, and a positive attitude towards maths.
From EYFS and KS1 early maths to Functional Skills support, lessons are adapted to your child’s individual needs and learning style. Each session is interactive, purposeful, and designed to help learners feel confident, motivated, and proud of their progress.
