About Risa
I am about to finish studying my A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics with a Maths AS. I took entrance exams for both year 7 (at 4 different schools) and sixth form (at 2 schools) so I have experience with the style of the exams and would love to help students get into their dream school. I achieved 10 GCSEs at grades 7 and above (A and above) and also have experience working with children as I also work as a swimming teacher.

I like to take the first lesson to work out the student's goals and what is needed to reach them, e.g. what schools they are applying for and what kind of assessments those schools set as well as get an idea of the students ability, after that we will spend lessons on each topic doing practice questions and showing them any methods that might help, spending more time on their weaker subjects. At first we will work through questions together and then they can start using those techniques to answer the questions themselves.
