About Abim
I am a gap year student who has a passion for English, and I believe it's such a crucial subject for every student's academic development; writing is a life skill. I've had some pretty unenthusiastic teachers in my time and as a result I've seen many students run away from the subject that I love. This is why I want to tutor English, so I can foster a sense of enjoyment for the subject within my students. Once this is achieved I have no doubt success will follow.

Initially, I set up a free 30-minute session to identify student needs and understand how they learn best. Once done, I would be able to offer 1 hour lessons tailored to their specific needs; this would include helping with essay planning, developing arguments, exam technique, extracting meaning from the text, and developing a more sophisticated writing style.
