Perfect! I wanted to find a tutor who my 15 year old son could relate to as well as work with. Henry’s profile and achievements sounded perfect. His first lesson allowed them to get to know each other on a personal level, discussing their hobbies and interests which, with Henry being younger than some tutors, Rhys really connected with and found interesting. Working with someone he can relate himself to helps him realise that achieving his potential is not out of reach.
Henry is very professional and structures the lessons well and they achieve a lot in the time allocated. He shares his screen, which allows Rhys to observe as he demonstrates clearly, simple ways to interpret and solve equations and exam questions. Rhys has the opportunity to ask questions and Henry has the ability to break things down further and explain in more detail the area that he doesn’t understand, without applying pressure. They have worked through exam papers together and Henry gives advice on how to pick up extra important marks. Rhys has also been given homework to consolidate his learning.
