About Jack
I am a 17 year old student, currently in sixth form. I achieved a grade 9 in AQA GCSE Computer Science. I am taking Computer Science at A - Level with my future job hopefully being in this area. I have also completed a teaching course on computer science for a friend. Over the past year, I have tutored over 15 students in GCSE Computer Science and GCSE Mathematics.

I am a tutor who is willing to vary lessons to fit around the needs of each individual students. I aim to engage students with a fun and interactive teaching style. As a student, I am able to relate to my students and I often find they are more willing to open up to me about their struggles in a subject because i’m also a student. I am here to help with general problems, homework and to try and improve your programming skills and knowledge of computer science. I can give and help you work through computer science papers and mark them for you whilst also teaching you specific areas of the specification. I will find questions and revision work for you and I can help with homework. I achieved a grade 9 in AQA Computer science GCSE. I have experience tutoring students students in both AQA and OCR GCSE Computer science. Over the past year, I have tutored over 10 students in computer science. I am now studying Computer Science at A-Level. Lesson times can vary with maximum being 2 hours. All lessons are online.

I failed my GCSE maths in school, then again in college when I did the maths functional skills course but with the help of Jack I finally managed to pass! I’m so pleased I met him! He helped me to gain the qualification I’ve been wanting/needing for years… and at my own pace. He never rushed me or made me feel under pressure, which I felt in school and my first year of college.
He’s very professional but also extremely friendly and easy to talk to.
In other learning environments I felt very uncomfortable, repeatedly, asking the tutor to go over a certain question with me when I didn’t understand how to work it out but Jack never made me feel like this. He would go over it as many times as I needed and made me feel really at ease.
