About Isla
Hi I’m Isla, I’m in year twelve and I would like to teach because when I went through my GCSEs last year, I found a lot of the revision was either obvious such as: learning generic quotes, or it was too specific such as learning pre-written answers based on predicted questions which actually backfired onto me when I did this. However, I understand the want to be prepared and not have to put all your time into one subject, so I aim to create revision plans and exam plans and strategies which are concise and effective.
Obviously, I am not as qualified as some of the tutors on here, I think my main quality as a tutor would be my recent experience with English GCSEs and taking that into A-level.

I was able to come up with creative angles to look at the set literature from which takes the examiners by surprise, making my essays stand out from the crowd. I also know the specific terminology AQA favour and how to incorporate it. As well as exam revision, I found helpful versus things I would skip.
